Flush Wood Doors are extremely versatile and complement every style house from Early American Colonial to Contemporary. They are superior to steel doors in many respects including their ability to resist dents and dings that spoil the appearance of steel doors. They have a superior R-value, or energy rating, due to woods greater resistance than steel to the transfer of heat and cold. Section construction consists of a kiln dried wood frame surrounding an expanded polystyrene core covered on both sides by the selected door skins and all bonded together under high pressure using waterproof adhesive. Three 2-1/4" reinforcing struts are included on each door.
